On the 8th day of cleansing Mary gave to me...!!!! Make a colorful plate!
Day 8 - for at least one meal a day, make your dish with as many colors as possible, like a rainbow! Using only foods of course ... no artificial colors allowed!
In the pic above, each color vegetable has it’s own benefits. It’s green beans, red beets, and butternut squash Mac n “cheese” - using mashed butternut squash as the cheese and gluten free brown rice rotini, and shallots. So yum!!
Purple (beets) are known for healing powers,beneficial for blood pressure,cardiovascular, and overall heart health.
Orange and yellow vegetables are higher in vitamin c among others which help immunity.
And the green - well... you know! Greens are great 😊.
